**About the team**:
Marketing Operations sits at the nexus of the Marketing, Finance, Product and Engineering teams at Web Summit. Marketing Operations aim to ensure our marketing has the biggest impact possible, by placing best-in-class marketing technologies, reporting and expert analysis at the disposal of the wider Marketing team.

**What you'll achieve at Web Summit**:

- You will set up and manage diverse reports for the marketing team, ensuring that each team has the insights they need for their day to day operations.
- You will produce in depth analysis of our marketing initiatives, focused on driving better performance with actionable insights.
- You will become an expert on Web Summit’s analytics platform, managing access and educating the wider business on best practices.
- You will advise on data pipelines related to marketing, to ensure that the wider marketing data requirements are met.
- You will coordinate activities with external teams, such as Finance, Product, Engineering and Data Science.

**Who you are**:

- You are inspired by the use of technology in marketing.
- You can spot trends, and keep up-to-date with the latest ideas and innovations, and adapt these in your work.
- You are data driven and comfortable with data visualisation, and familiar with tools like Tableau, Power-BI, Looker, Data studio, Metabase and similar.
- You have creative problem-solving, and analytical skills, and are comfortable handling and interpreting large data sets for a wide variety of use cases.
- You are a planner and capable of thinking ahead seeing how work done today will affect tomorrow.
- You have good knowledge of online marketing, and have experience with different marketing channels and tools.
- You’re an excellent communicator with an eye for detail.

**Skills and abilities we're looking for**:

- Bachelor’s or master’s degree, or relevant experience related to modern digital marketing.
- Experience with tag managers, such as Google Tag Manager or similar.
- Experience of web/mobile/ecommerce analytics tools and platforms (Matomo, Google Analytics, Adobe Analytics, Mixpanel, or similar), for analysis and optimisation goal setting.
- Basic HTML & JavaScript skills and knowledge, as well as the fundamentals of web. technologies and web design. Experience with browser debugging tools is a plus.
- Comfortable querying databases (using SQL or similar). Python skills are a plus.
- Experience with digital advertising tools and platforms such as Google Ads, Facebook Ads, LinkedIn Ads, DoubleClick or similar.
- Interest in data visualisation, creation of dashboards and charts via tools like Tableau, Data Studio by Google, Metabase or similar.
