In-house Lawyer

We are a group of companies, part of an international group that works in Real Estate Investments and we are looking for a **LAWYER** for our office based in **Lisbon - Parque das Nações** to work with real estate, tax and licensing/urbanism issues.
** & KEY RESPOSIBILITIES**:
- Monitor and review legislation and regulations and advise on its effect (if any) on the operations of the company’s practices and procedures;
- Advisory on national and international tax matters;
- Monitor legal risks in real estate transactions and advise accordingly;
- Draft and negotiate real estate transactions, leases and amendments, as well as correspondence and notices;
- Assist in managing all legal issues relating to works agreements, insurances and real-estate practices;
- Manage and advise on disputes and litigation;
- Furthermore, drafting, reviewing and negotiating contracts and supporting all departments of the company in commercial negotiations will be part of your role.
**NICE TO HAVE**: A refined understanding of all aspects of contract and commercial law will be very beneficial, as will a sound understanding of data protection laws. Some employment law experience would be desirable. Additionally, previous experience in Hotel Management/Services will be beneficial.
**TO BE SUCCESSFUL YOU NEED TO HAVE**:
- Graduated from a Portuguese Law University (mandatory);
- Minimum professional experience - 3/5 years post-admission (Portuguese Bar Association) experience - in a Law Firm or In-house Legal Department;
- Cross wide knowledge in Law with relevant professional experience in any of the fields of Commercial law, Construction and Real Estate Law;
- Proficiency in English, written and spoken (mandatory);
- Adaptable, openness to new ideas, “quick-reader” for changing situations and balance long-term view with short-term actions;
- Ability to work independently with limited supervision, own matters and drive result and create accountability;
- Ability to move with agility, prioritize workloads and meet deadlines;
