We are currently seeking a Finance and Legal Manager to join a fast-growing client located in Porto, Portugal. As the Finance and Legal Manager, you will be responsible for managing the finance and legal team, developing and overseeing the implementation of business processes and controls, and analyzing data to support executive leadership in business steering and company-wide initiatives.

HQ is based in Portugal - offering remote working within Europe.

**Your responsibilities and impact as a Chief Financial Officer will be**:

- Lead a team of 3-4 direct reports and 8 FTEs in finance and legal management
- Develop and implement business processes and controls to scale the business efficiently
- Analyze data-driven results and performance to support executive leadership in steering business operations and company-wide initiatives
- Design, automate, and optimize scalable processes and systems in Strategic Finance, FP&A, and overall Finance and legal
- Partner with cross-functional leaders to create detailed business cases supported by financial data to inform decision-making
- Continuously expand your knowledge by exploring new technologies and embracing novel approaches
- Communicate effectively and collaborate as an active member of the team

**Skills, qualifications and interests you need to succeed in this role**:

- Demonstrable experience in fundraising, M&A, and multi-country operations
- Proven track record at a growth stage company, preferably within the SaaS space
- Background in FP&A or strategic finance with operational finance management experience
- 5+ Years in a CTO position.
- Exceptional financial modeling skills including Google Sheets, business plans, M&A, and 3-statement models
- Experience building and maintaining relationships with cross-functional partners
- Strategic thinker with strong analytical and decision-making skills
- Ability to execute multiple tasks efficiently under significant time constraints with great attention to detail
- The growth-oriented mindset with a proven ability to work strategically in a fast-paced, changing environment
