**Your Responsibilities**:

- Serve as the primary DBA for multiple, large-scale Oracle databases
- Install, configure, and upgrade database software and related products
- Design and implement backup and recovery strategies
- Perform capacity planning and load testing
- Proactively monitor database performance and tune accordingly
- Implement security measures to protect data from unauthorized access
- Write and maintain custom scripts to automate various DBA tasks
- Train junior DBAs and developers on proper database design and administration
- Stay up-to-date on new Oracle features and functionality
- Research and recommend new technologies that can improve database performance

**Your Qualifications**:

- Bachelor?s degree in computer science, information systems, or related field
- Oracle Certified Professional (OCP) certification preferred
- 5+ years experience as an Oracle DBA
- Expertise in installation, configuration, upgrade, and patching of Oracle databases
- Strong understanding of the Oracle database architecture
- In-depth knowledge of Oracle RAC, ASM, and Data Guard
- Experience with performance tuning and troubleshooting of Oracle databases
- Working knowledge of shell scripting
- Experience with other relational databases, such as SQL Server, MySQL preferred
- Excellent German language skills
