Description

Qualitest, the largest quality assurance company in the world, is recruiting employees for a localization/software-testing project in partnership with one of the world’s largest tech providers.

Our People Partners team role is to provide support and advise on all day to day HR matters and employee lifecycle as well as to lead activities to drive positive culture with high engaged employees and managers.

**Position is responsible for**:
Ensuring our local People practices are effective, modern and within the local employment laws;
Initiate and drive engagement activities to help us build Qualitest as a great place to work;
**Position reports to**: VP People and Talent;
**Department**: People Team.

**Main Duties**:
Creating and maintaining strong working relationships with all stakeholders;
Responsible for business partnering with specific sectors across the business;
Reviewing and implementing HR processes and policies in line with current legislation and other business changes;
Maintaining compliance with the most current Portugal Employment Law;
Responsible for the offboarding process of all employees;
Maintaining of Employee Files;
Managing Employee Relations cases, including Disciplinary and Grievances;
Coordinating and assisting with the Performance Appraisal Process;
Coordinate surveys, analyse results report and feedback to the business;
Responsible for the Absence Management process and reporting;
Actively managing payroll and benefit platforms in coordination with our accounting team;
Assisting and being responsible for HR initiatives;
Dealing with various HR queries throughout the business;
Negotiating terms and conditions of employment with staff;
Providing advice and playing a role in work reviews and change processes;
Using HR information systems to access, input and compile data;
Identifying development needs;
Managing employee relationships, responding to any queries or problems that they have and managing their expectations;
Monitoring, reviewing, and updating all HR policies and processes, ensuring these are in line with current legislation;
Driving the business performance in relation to the organisation’s objectives;
Assisting in organising employer branding initiatives;
Acting as the point of contact for managers, employees, and other HR team members;
**Requirements**:
Experience working in an HR advisory role or HRBP, preferably in tech companies;
Knowledge of current employment legislation laws;
Ability to deal with difficult situations in a professional manner;
Strong interpersonal and communications skills, including sensitivity and influence;
Ability to recognise and act upon the implications of actions and decisions Ability to collect, collate and analyse information to enable informed decisions to be made;
Competent user of Microsoft office software;
Experience with Immigration / Visa Requirements;
Payroll & Pension Administration Experience;
Commitment to ongoing professional development;
Confident, well-motivated enthusiastic and determined;
Team player;
Flexible and adaptable in approach, can deal with ambiguity and changes;
Has a Can-do attitude and positive approach when faced with problems;
Creative in thinking and style.
