We transform fresh, organic fruits and veggies into handy single-serving meal moments such as instant smoothies and delicious ready-to-eat fruit snacks. - **this is a mostly remote role** **-the Sourcing & Purchase Associate expected to attend in -person meetings in Cabra Figa about 3 times a month** **Job Overview and Main Goals** We are seeking an experienced Sourcing and Purchasing Materials Associate to support our sourcing and purchasing activities. You will report to the Purchasing Manager/ Planning manager and be part of a knowledgeable, committed and collaborative team. You will also have the opportunity to participate in new product development and build fruitful relationships with suppliers **Responsibilities**: - Maintain records of goods ordered and received, validate invoices from suppliers - Prepare and process requisitions and purchase orders for supplies and equipment - Analyze market and delivery systems in order to assess present and future material availability - Participate in the development of specifications for equipment, products or substitute materials - Resolve vendor or contractor grievances, and claims against suppliers - Lead open purchase order status meetings with suppliers - Administer purchasing systems - Stock Control - Ensure all processes are properly documented at our collaborative workspace (Notion) **Required Skills and Qualifications**: - 2+ years' experience in a similar role - High knowledge of supplier management - Understanding of quality standards and health & safety regulations - Experience in reporting on key procurement metrics - Proficient in MS Office/Google Tools and ERP software - Outstanding communication ability - Attention to detail - Strong decision-making skills and a results-driven approach - Full English fluency: speaking, writing, reading **Nice-to-Have’s**: - Fluent in German or other European languages - US Experience **What we offer**: - An employee stock equity award - Private health insurance, company pays 100% premium for employee and spouse/domestic partner - 25 days of paid time off - 9.60 euro per day for a meal allowance - Donation to your favorite charity on your birthday - Wellness perks via our kencko-er assistance program (legal, financial, work/life balance, and mental health services) - A casual, dynamic, ambitious, and fun work environment - Free nutrition consults - Steep discount on kencko products - Be part of a B-Corp team that is shaking-up the nutrition industry for the better "kencko is committed to bringing together individuals from different backgrounds and perspectives.
