HAYS Technology is helping a leading company in developing electric grids looking for a QA tester for their Embedded Systems team

**Responsibilities**:
Collaborate with colleagues across data science, firmware, software and hardware development teams;
Develop and implement test procedures to validate the quality of the delivered product according to the specifications;
Perform some minor support and debug tasks.

What you will need to succeed

BSc/BA in Electrical Engineer (Electronics, Automation, or Telecommunications Engineer) or equivalent;
**At least 3 years of experience in Software Test Engineering**:
Defect reporting strategies, the way - How a defect, bug, inconsistency or feature with no requirements is handled;
Document test results;
Experience performing manual testing as needed and seek ways to automate

Experience ensuring efficient and effective execution of test activities and participate actively in continuously improving workflows

Experience in converting acceptance criteria, product designs and functional details into test cases

Exceptional attention to detail

Experience with JIRA software - Agile project management tool : Most important tasks on JIRA - Create test cycles and bug reporting.
