**Practice Area - Corporate and Investment Banking (“CIB”) teams as part of the Banking Sector**:
Financial institutions have evolved significantly over the past decade, driven by increased regulatory constraints and competition. Within the Banking Sector, the CIB team supports Corporate Banking, Capital Markets, and Securities Services in developing revenues, enhancing their competitive advantages and profitability, managing risks, and ensuring regulatory compliance.
**What you’ll do**:

As a senior business consultant with ALMT expertise, you will be leading transformation projects for our CIB clients in ALM and Treasury. You will assist clients in developing strategic plans and providing insights that align with their business goals and objectives. You will lead and manage consulting projects, from execution to completion, ensuring they are delivered on time, within scope and within budget.
As a senior member of the team, you will identify new business opportunities, participate in proposal writing, and contribute to the growth of the consulting practice. You will also be a champion for area of expertise, by staying updated on industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies and presenting them to colleagues and clients.
**Where you’ll be stationed**:
TNP is an international consulting firm, you will participate in international assignments, with potential travel and short-term stationing overseas.
**What you’ll bring**:
Equipped with the entrepreneurial fibre, you are ready to collaborate with us in a fast-growing international company, that has recently opened offices in Portugal.
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business, Economics, or a related field; MBA or other advanced degree preferred.
- Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in consulting, preferably within the financial services industry, or equivalent in a banking institution.
- Proven track record in ALMT with a good functional knowledge of AML-T FO to BO processes and value chains, in terms of:
1) Financial instruments traded: money market instrument, REPO, bonds, interest rate or cross currency swaps
2) Processes: cash & liquidity management, interest rate & FX risk management, trade order execution to settlement, collateral management,
3) Control framework: Regulations, procedures, data, systems, and reporting used
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively with senior-level clients and stakeholders.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to develop innovative solutions.
- Languages: Bilingual: Portuguese and English. French is a plus but not mandatory.
- Prepared to participate in temporary assignments abroad (e.g. France, Germany, Italy, Luxembourg).
