Capgemini Portugal’s Country Security Officer (CSO) is responsible for making sure that information security policies and controls are implemented and that the associated cybersecurity risk level remains at an acceptable level. The CSO must also continuously monitor existing controls and company-wide policies, validate new solutions and ensure continuous improvement in response to new threats and business opportunities.

At Capgemini, CSOs manage local regulatory requirements and own the relationship with the local security service. They maintain local threat assessment and security baseline compliance, and are the escalation point for local client, staff
- based security incidents.

As CSO, you will work closely with top management and all other areas of the company, such as HR and Legal, who have helped implement and maintain compliance with existing standards and requirements at Capgemini Portugal.

What are we offering:

- Function in large matrix organization and drive security management topic across the organization:

- Protect Capgemini & its clients from Threats (External/ Internal)
- Manage local regulatory requirements
- Manage client’s contractual requirements
- Own relationship with local government security services
- Coordinates & drives (where applicable) with all internal entities (MU & GBLs) in context of rolling out security initiatives within the region.
- Improve Capgemini positioning in external Risk Reports
- Maintain local threat assessment and security baseline compliance, in addition to TB & PB (SBU Europe)
- Escalation point for local client, staff-based security incidents & handing SOC reported incidents.
- Provide training and drive awareness
- Supports local bid/proposal/sales process.

Skills / Qualifications:

- Experience and good understanding of common
- Security Governance frameworks (ideally has one of these Certifications: lead 27K implementor/lead auditor, CISA, CISSP, CISM, CEH)
- Security Risk Management frameworks
- Application Security and Infra security paradigm
- Can manage & support
- Information Security incidents, policy violations and escalations
- Internal initiatives in matrix organization
- client and certification Audits
- Can Review contracts, policies, procedures and SOP (Internal and external).
- Create and run training, workshops & meetings (at various level within organization)
- Ability to work under pressure without dropping the ball
- An eye for the detail
- Strong written, spoken communications and documentations skills
