**About the job** - Ensure strict compliance with applicable financial/regulatory/tax reporting and payment obligations, including contribution for timely and accurate preparation of the Banks annual Financial Statements **Your Main Activities Are** - Supervise the issuance and delivery of local regulatory/financial/tax reporting, compliant with applicable legislation, on a timely and effecient manner. It includes reporting to local regulators (Bank of Portugal and CMVM) and to Portuguese Tax Authorities, as well as the issuance of the individual financial statements for the entities under remit - Ensure the implementation of controls and reviews on the local regulatory/financial/tax reports with respect to their compliance with local reporting rules - Provide analysis and commentary concerning to the annual individual financial statements - Participate in projects requiring financial accounting and reporting expertise - Maintain contact with external auditors, local regulators and tax authorities - Provide in time to Finance Oxygen Hub the required information for the Group reporting - Ensure the existence of up to date procedures and controls to cover all activities under the scope of responsibility - Recommend and seek to implement procedures and processes that improve the quality of the reports **Profile and Skills to Success** - Bachelors Degree in Economics, Finance, Accounting or related areas - A minimum of 4 years of experience in Accounting and Finance - Management Experience - English fluent (mandatory) - Expert in Finance and Budget: Finance and Tax, Rules and Norms - Proficient in Microsoft Office Pack, particulary in Microsoft Excel - Proficient in Finance Applications - High organization skills - Attention to detail and rigor - Results driven - Analytical Ability LI-Hybrid **Why joining BNP Paribas?** - **Leading banking institution** BNP Paribas is a leader in the Eurozone, and a prominent international banking institution with strong roots in Europe's banking history.
