Since 2024, the site has been fully integrated into Lear and is growing as a center for automation and mechanical design solutions.Why LEARAt LEAR, you’ll work in an international environment, contribute to real manufacturing solutions, and grow within a global organization focused on innovation, teamwork, and long-term development.Position OverviewWe are looking for a Mechanical Design Engineer to design, develop, and improve mechanical solutions for industrial automation systems.Key Responsibilities• Design mechanical components and assemblies• Support testing, validation, and implementation in production• Prepare technical documentation and drawings• Ensure compliance with safety and quality standards• Work closely with automation and engineering teamsKey Skills & Qualifications• Technical degree preferred (Mechanical Engineering is ideal)• Experience in mechanical design• Knowledge of SolidWorks and Visual Studio• English required (Portuguese preferred)• Proactive mindset, attention to detail, teamwork skillsOther Information• On-site work at the Castelo Branco plant is required• Occasional travel (domestic & international)• Probation period: 6 months• Applicants must have the right to work in the EU• Visa sponsorship is not available for this positionLEAR Corporation is an equal opportunity employer committed to a diverse workplace.
