Cost Controller

Luxe Talent, an International Recruitment and Training Consultancy specialized in Fashion, Luxury, Retail and FMCG, we are looking for a Cost Controller for one of our clients, a well-established textile company based in the north of Portugal, to strengthen its finance team. In our recruitment and training consultancy we work with different firms in the Luxury, Premium and High Premium sectors around Europe and have offices in Barcelona, Madrid, Paris, Milan, Munich, Braga and Amsterdam. Job Description: Monitor and analyze production and operational costs, identifying variances and opportunities for cost optimization. Prepare cost reports and support monthly and annual financial closings. Analyze cost structures, margins, and profitability by product, process, or client. Support budgeting and forecasting processes related to manufacturing costs. Work closely with production, operations, and finance teams to ensure cost control and data accuracy. Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives related to cost efficiency and internal controls. Degree in Finance, Accounting, Management, Economics, or a related field. 2 to 3 years of professional experience in cost controlling, preferably in an industrial or manufacturing environment. Strong analytical skills and attention to detail. Good knowledge of Excel; experience with ERP systems is a plus. Ability to work autonomously while collaborating with cross-functional teams. Good communication skills and a proactive mindset. Fluency in English.
