Who we are looking for:
We're looking for a B2B Sales Manager to support and scale our early commercial efforts. You'll be responsible for identifying, contacting, and closing B2B leads across the nutraceutical, cosmetics, chemical, and pharmaceutical sectors, with a key goal: securing Letters of Intent (LOIs) that validate market interest and support our growth trajectory. This is a hands-on role, ideal for someone with a strong outbound sales mindset, who is ready to grow with the company, has experience selling bio-based or functional products, and is motivated to close early commercial deals in a fast-paced startup environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Identify and qualify B2B leads across the nutraceutical, pharmaceutical, cosmetics, and chemical industries
  • Actively manage day-to-day sales execution, from first contact through LOIs and early commercial agreements
  • Initiate outreach via email, LinkedIn, phone, and industry events
  • Prepare and deliver tailored sales pitches, communicating our value proposition and handling technical or commercial objections
  • Maintain regular communication with prospects to align expectations and support future sampling or deal flow
  • Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and trade shows
  • Work closely with management and technical teams to translate product capabilities into clear commercial offers

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Business, Marketing, Management, or a related field
  • Industry knowledge of polyphenols, nutraceuticals, cosmetics, chemicals, or pharmaceuticals — including market dynamics and regulatory context
  • Proven B2B sales experience in any of the above sectors
  • Ability to operate independently while learning quickly in an early-stage environment
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
  • Fluent in Portuguese and English
  • Willingness to travel regularly within Portugal
  • Self-motivated, organized, and outcome-driven
