Material Planning Specialist
YOUR OPPORTUNITY
We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Material Planning Specialist to join our team in Santa Maria da Feira. The role is reporting to the Planning & Logistic Manager and includes participation in the Aurora project (SAP S/4HANA Implementation), contributing to both daily material planning operations and the digital transformation of planning processes.
YOUR MISSIONShort-Term (Operational Support)
- Manage daily material planning activities to ensure timely availability of components
- Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with procurement and production teams
- Maintain planning parameters and ensure data accuracy in the current ERP system
- Resolve material shortages and delivery issues in collaboration with suppliers
Medium-Term (Project Involvement – Aurora)
- Act as Key User for the Material Planning stream in the Aurora (SAP S/4HANA) rollout
- Participate in process mapping, system testing, and validation activities
- Support data migration and contribute to training and change management efforts
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure a smooth transition to the new ERP platform
- Degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Industrial Engineering, or a related field
- Minimum of 2 years' experience in material planning or supply chain operations
- Familiarity with ERP systems (SAP experience is a strong advantage as well as Experience in ERP implementation or digital transformation projects.)
- Strong analytical and organizational skills
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
- Proactive and adaptable mindset
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, project-driven environment
- Fluent in English (spoken and written)
