The position
We are currently looking for an
Accounts Payable Accountant
to join our Finance team. The permanent position will be based in our site in Portugal (Maia, Porto).

Responsibility will be for the following tasks with HBK France:

Tasks within Accounts Payable: posting of vendor invoices, cleaning vendors accounts, journal entries, reconciliations, Intrastat declaration etc.

You will be part of a global finance organization with English as the main language, however French and Spanish language skills are also required for this role.

Primary Responsibilities
Your daily work includes:

  • Posting of outcoming payments
  • Make payments
  • Maintain vendors master data
  • Booking vendors invoices and keep clean as much as possible the vendor accounts.
  • Doing monthly reconciliation
  • Doing credit cards reconciliation
  • Manage travel expenses on Certify (travel expenses tool)
  • Support the financial controller for auditors
  • Doing Intrastat declaration

Professional Qualifications

  • You have an Accounting or Finance Bachelor degree and several years of professional experience with the mentioned tasks.
  • You have excellent communication skills in English, French and Spanish.
  • You have experience with SAP4Hanna and/or SAP.
