Role Overview:

We are looking for an
Account Officer
to join one of our biggest clients, a leading global financial institution specialized in derivatives execution and clearing services.

Location:
Offices in Lisbon (hybrid)

What you will do:

  • Handle back-office activities related to derivatives execution and clearing.
  • Perform Clearing Houses vs Back Office reconciliations (margins, premiums, positions, initial margins).
  • Ensure reports sent to clients are accurate and reliable.
  • Act as the first point of contact for counterparties (clients, brokers, CCPs) regarding financial delivery processes.
  • Monitor corporate action events impacting underlying contracts.
  • Maintain accountancy balance (CCP vs client cash flows).
  • Participate in projects to improve internal systems and processes.
  • Produce procedures and monthly key performance indicators.
  • Support training of newcomers and confirm checklists are updated.

What you are like:

  • Bachelor's degree in Economics, Finance, Accounting, or Business Management.
  • 2+ years of experience in similar roles.
  • Solid knowledge of financial markets.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools.
  • Fluency in English.
  • Strong attention to detail and rigor.
  • Excellent teamwork and communication skills.
