Your Role
Key responsibilities in your new role:
In this position, you will actively contribute to the management and optimization of indirect tax processes across several European countries.
- Be part of Indirect TAX EU compliance for various companies in different countries
- Review accounting records, document content, and applicability of Indirect TAX and legal regulations
- Prepare and submit Indirect Tax returns as well as necessary compliance checks
- Collaborate with internal counterparts to review individual transactions and suggest necessary corrections
- Liaise with the Indirect Tax manager and local Accounting regarding Indirect TAX queries
- Develop expertise and increase process efficiency and compliance by continuously monitoring, identifying and implementing improvements
- Ensure clear and accurate documentation for all processes
Your Profile
Qualifications and skills to help you succeed:
- Degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics or similar field of studies
- At least 1 year of experience in Indirect Taxes, Accounting, or similar areas
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office tools, especially Excel
- Knowledge of SAP would be a plus
- Flexibility to identify and adopt process changes that increase efficiency and compliance; A proactive mindset, attention to detail, and enthusiasm for implementing process improvements in a dynamic environment
- Fluency in English
