Our Client

Our client is a fintech-software company, part of a leading European financial group, delivering advanced software solutions and data-driven services. They specialise in banking-tech platforms and data engineering, supporting the groups digital-transformation ambitions. The Lisbon hub sits in a modern innovation building in the city, reflecting a work environment designed for agility and excellence.

Role Overview:
  • Designing, developing, and delivering advanced solutions powered by Generative AI, with a strong emphasis on Large Language Models (LLMs).
  • Building and maintaining scalable and reliable AI systems, including data pipelines, APIs, and integrations with external tools and platforms.
  • Collaborating closely with engineering, product, and operations teams to create meaningful, AI-driven solutions.
  • Leveraging AI technologies to drive innovation and enhance existing systems.
  • Continuously improving development processes to strengthen scalability, security, and overall performance.
  • Staying current with emerging AI trends and technologies and sharing insights to encourage innovation and technical excellence within the team.
Requirements:
  • Strong software engineering expertise, particularly in Python, and proven experience designing and building scalable backend API solutions.
  • A solid track record in developing and deploying AI and Generative AI solutions, with hands-on experience using industry-standard frameworks and libraries.
  • Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.
  • Excellent problem-solving abilities and a collaborative mindset.
  • Clear communication skills, with the ability to translate complex technical ideas for both technical and non-technical audiences.
