Job Summary
As the
Head of Logistics
, you'll be responsible for defining, optimizing, and leading all logistics operations across the group, ensuring reliable, cost-effective, and scalable delivery of goods for both B2B and B2C models. This role will own relationships with global logistics providers and oversee international shipping, DDP operations, cost control, and logistics team leadership.
Key Responsibilities
Strategy & Leadership
- Define and implement the global logistics strategy across Rovo, Assembly, and Index.
- Build a scalable logistics function to support international growth.
- Set and track KPIs to ensure performance and continuous improvement.
Freight & Transport Management
- Oversee international shipments across air, sea, and road.
- Ensure smooth execution of DDP deliveries and customs compliance.
- Coordinate B2B and B2C flows with 3PLs and warehouse partners.
Partner & Carrier Management
- Negotiate rates and SLAs with FedEx, DHL, UPS, and freight forwarders.
- Monitor service levels and resolve delivery issues.
- Maintain strong relationships with logistics vendors.
Operational Control & Optimization
- Drive cost-efficiency across transport and warehousing.
- Optimize processes to improve lead times and accuracy.
- Identify and implement improvement opportunities.
Team & Systems Management
- Lead and develop the logistics team across markets.
- Promote collaboration with Production, Customer Service, and Tech.
- Ensure ERP and e-commerce system integration with logistics operations.
Preferred Qualifications (Must-have/Nice-to-have)
Must-have Qualifications
- 6-8+ years of experience in international logistics, including freight and e-commerce operations.
- Hands-on experience with DDP shipping, import/export processes, and working with carriers like FedEx, DHL, and UPS.
- Proven ability to negotiate logistics contracts and manage SLAs.
- Strong leadership skills with experience managing logistics teams.
- Solid analytical skills and experience monitoring logistics KPIs and controlling costs.
- Fluency in English.
- Comfortable working with ERP systems and Excel for logistics tracking and reporting.
Nice-to-Have Qualifications
- Experience with e-commerce platforms such as Shopify, WooCommerce, or Magento.
- Familiarity with BI tools (e.g. Power BI) and WMS/TMS platforms.
- Previous work in fashion, apparel, or consumer goods logistics.
- Interest or experience in sustainable logistics practices.
