• You will support Emma in reaching its EBIT, performance, and service targets by participating in RFQ / RFI processes, including preparing, sourcing, and negotiating new and existing contracts.
• You will balance cost-saving initiatives with performance improvements (ex: shorter lead-times), while adapting to changing customer requirements (ex: new delivery services or dedicated van solutions).
• You will support the purchasing team by identifying and proposing solutions that directly influence how our supply chain network is structured. These solutions define how we connect the nodes of our distribution network (ex: how to fulfill product X for country Y).
• You will support the planning team in preparing for peak moments such as Black Friday, Winter Sales, and Summer Sales to ensure network readiness.
• You will develop new processes and templates that enable better decision-making and communication (ex: decision matrix tools or newsletters for country teams and operations stakeholders).

• You have completed some study cases in business administration, business informatics or a related subject. Ideally, you have initial practical experience in the area of operation or supply chain management and logistics.
• You master MS Office, especially Excel, in your sleep. If you have some basic interest in data modeling and programing, it would be a great plus.
• You are a communicative team player and have very good English skills - other language skills are an advantage.
• You are able logically explain your decisions, also well self-organized and independent.
• You are quick to grasp and have a solution-oriented approach to new tasks and problems. Ideally you can share some project execution success stories with us.
• You are available for at least 6 months.
