Mechanical Engineer

The Opportunity:

We are seeking an experienced individual to join our team as a Mechanical Engineer in Lisbon. Reporting to the Lisbon Team Lead and Senior Project Manager, this individual is passionate about innovation, detail-oriented, and capable of working independently to find creative solutions for new products.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and produce detailed manufacturing drawings and 3D models using SolidWorks or equivalent CAD software.
  • Create high-quality renderings and visualizations with KeyShot.
  • Collaborate with the design and production teams to ensure feasibility and manufacturability of new components and products.
  • Participate in product development from concept through to production, including
  • prototyping and testing.
  • Continuously seek and propose technical improvements to optimize design, cost, and
  • performance.
  • Manage multiple projects efficiently while meeting deadlines and quality standards.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in mechanical design, preferably in a manufacturing or product development environment.
  • Strong proficiency in SolidWorks (3D modeling, assemblies, and manufacturing
  • drawings).
  • Experience with other 3D design tools such as Solid Edge, Fusion 360, or Autodesk Inventor will also be considered.
  • Experience with KeyShot for product visualization and rendering.
  • Proven ability to work independently and proactively in solving design challenges.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team.
  • Strong problem-solving mindset and a passion for innovation and continuous improvement.
  • Experience with prototyping techniques (3D printing, CNC machining, etc.) is an asset.
  • Familiarity with materials, manufacturing processes, and GD&T is an asset.
  • Basic knowledge of project management tools and methodologies.

Weekly Schedule: Monday-Friday

Work Setting: In office/Remote
