Your tasks

• Develop comprehensive Android apps based on modern architectural principles and collaborate closely with other departments.
• Utilize modern tools and frameworks such as Android Studio, Kotlin, Jetpack Compose, and Android Architecture Components (e.g., Flow, Coroutines).
• Implement projects using Gradle and with persistent local database systems like Room or comparable solutions.
• Support development teams in the technical implementation of Android projects and contribute your own ideas.
• Work closely with the international product development team.
• Apply our guidelines independently and implement new requirements, architectural improvements and refactorings, and ensure that everything runs smoothly.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest Android development trends, tools, and technologies to enhance app functionality and user experience.

Your profile
Technical expertise:

• Degree in Business Informatics or a comparable qualification, with 10+ years' experience in Android app development.
• Proven experience in Android projects in a leading position, ideally with references in the Play Store.
• Excellent knowledge of the Android platform and native app development with Kotlin.
• Extensive and up-to-date expertise in Android development with Kotlin, Jetpack Compose, and Coroutines.
• Proficient in using Gradle and local database systems like Room or comparable technologies for offline data storage.
• Ability to practically implement technical requirements in everyday project work
• Experienced in agile working methods.

Social skills:

• High level of self-responsibility and structured working style.
• Strong communication skills (excellent English; Portuguese and/or German are a plus) and team spirit.
• Openness to interdisciplinary collaboration.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
