Job Title: Content Moderator (German + English)

Location: Lisbon, Portugal
Schedule: Monday to Friday, 08:00 AM 10:00 PM (Rotating Shifts); Days Off: Saturday & Sunday
Work Type: On-Site
Contract Duration: 14-Month Contract (with the possibility of extension)
Compensation: 1,300 EUR per month, plus a 250 EUR Language Bonus and an annual Performance Bonus of 380 EUR
Meal Allowance: 7.63 EUR net per working day

Position Overview
In the capacity of Content Moderator, you will serve as a vital guardian of our digital community, ensuring that all content adheres to established safety and quality standards. Your linguistic proficiency will be essential in the analysis, review, and moderation of diverse content types in both German and English. You will work in close collaboration with a dedicated team to uphold community guidelines while providing constructive feedback aimed at enhancing our operational processes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Content Evaluation: Assess and moderate user-generated content to ensure compliance with community standards and guidelines, thus safeguarding the integrity of the platform.
  • Quality Assurance: Identify and escalate any content-related issues, delivering actionable feedback to optimize user experience and satisfaction.
  • Collaborative Engagement: Collaborate closely with fellow moderators and team leaders to share insights and enhance moderation strategies through collective efforts.
  • Process Enhancement: Actively participate in team meetings to discuss emerging trends, propose improvements to moderation practices, and implement best practices in content evaluation.

Qualifications

  • Linguistic Expertise: Native-level proficiency in German (C2) and a strong command of English (B2) to facilitate effective communication with clients and colleagues.
  • Attention to Detail: A meticulous eye for detail coupled with a passion for upholding high standards in online content moderation.
  • Team Orientation: A collaborative mindset with a willingness to contribute to team objectives and engage with peers constructively.
  • Local Candidates Only: This position is exclusively available to candidates currently residing in Portugal.
