Job Description

We are looking for a Business Analyst (3-5 years exp) to reinforce the project GASPARD-KURE.

The team in charge of the project has been developing and setting-up a platform dedicated to the remediation of the Data for the benefits of its main business entity - the Financial Direction of Global Financing Services – and is targeting a deployment beyond, to other entities.

The goal of that remediation platform, named KURE, is to improve the Data quality and create a virtuous circle. It's become key to deliver the various authorities and regulators the many financial reports the bank must produce.

It's based on 3 pillars:

• Centralize the anomalies (ticketing).
• Assign anomalies to the Data Owners according to the Data Governance principles.
• Correct once and for all the Data and publish it.

The project has started in 2022 and is already in production. It's been built in a context of innovation where Event Driven Architecture (EDA) was chosen to provide near real-time process and better reactivity, thanks to Kafka technology. The platform itself provides a user-interface and dashboards developed by the team.

Due to the nature of the Data in the scope, the team interacts with many other business teams, such as financial controllers, Data Management, Back-officers, company repository administrators.

The project team is mainly located in Paris (France) but is supported by developers from Natixis Porto. On the other hand, the platform is mainly used by business teams located in France but also in Porto and in the future in Asia and US.

The team is working in agile (SCRUM) and is part of a bigger program called GASPARD which is managed in SAFe. All the project meetings are in English, all the documentation is done in English as well.

Mission :

On the project « KURE » the person will have to:

• Analyze the user needs and their process, with the help of the Product Owner and various business teams.
• Participate in the scoping and slicing of the features expected from the business.
• Participate and lead some workshops to design the features with the rest of the team.
• Design sketches of the UI and dashboards with FIGMA and PowerBI
• Write functional specifications.
• Design, write and execute functional tests.
• Support the business in their adoption of the platform.
• Participate to the life of the project team via the various agile ceremonies.

Qualifications

Functional skills:

• General knowledge about Information System
• General knowledge about Data Governance, Data Catalog or Data Quality
• Any experience or interest in UX would be appreciated.
• Any experience in BI and design of KPIs would be also appreciated.

Methodology skills:

• Experience in Agile methodology (SCRUM) is required.
• Any experience in BDD would be appreciated.

Compétences relationnelles :

• Capacity to listen, understand and question the business.
• Capacity to organize their own work.
• Capacity to propose ideas and initiatives.
• Capacity to evolve in a quite technical domain and discuss with the developers.
• Capacity to present a subject concisely.

• Good communication in English

• Jira, FIGMA, PowerBI, Postman, SQL

Languages

English: Fluent (must have)

French: Intermediate (nice to have)
