Our client is a well-established export company known for delivering high-quality products to international markets. They are now seeking a detail-driven Logistics Coordinator to join their dynamic operations team and ensure seamless, efficient movement of goods across global supply chains.

This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, enjoys working with numbers and processes, and has a strong interest in logistics and international trade.

Minimum Requirements
  • BCom degree in Logistics, Marketing, or International Trade (advantageous)
  • Fully bilingual in Afrikaans & English (written and spoken)
  • Valid driver's license
  • Strong communication and negotiation abilities
  • Excellent attention to detail and ability to work under pressure
  • Proficient in MS Office
Key Responsibilities
  • Coordinate with cold stores, transporters, freight forwarders, and shipping lines
  • Manage export bookings and shipping documentation
  • Perform Q67 checks and reconcile forecasts vs. available stock
  • Issue loading notifications and monitor container ageing and steri-related issues
  • Prepare and analyse temperature deviation reports
  • Provide vessel status updates across all export markets
  • Communicate packing specifications to packhouses according to client requirements
  • Verify packing orders against pack-outs and reconcile stock from packhouses
  • Prepare packing lists and invoices for freight forwarders
  • Allocate stock to markets and issue packing plans
  • Send invoices and documentation to clients
  • Ensure timely receipt of shipping documents
  • Update all quality specifications on internal systems
