About James Baroud
James Baroud is a premium car rooftop tent brand built in Europe 20 years ago, trusted by people who travel in real conditions and care about comfort, reliability, and engineering that lasts. We are growing across multiple markets, and paid media is an important part of how we scale, with the same attention to detail we put into the product.
The role
You will own the ad strategy rollout and performance optimization of a multi channel, multi country paid strategy across 10 plus countries. You will follow the strategy framework, level it up, and make it run with discipline, efficiency, and clear reporting.
You will elevate data and KPIs into subjective learnings to help us fine tune our funnel strategy for each region. Guiding audiences, creatives and campaign types for successful campaigns.
Your focus will be three things
- Roll out cross platform strategies -
Plan, launch, and iterate campaigns across Meta and Google (primarily), with room to expand into YouTube, Linkedin, Tiktok, and other channels as we scale. Align budgets, structure, and messaging by market, and keep execution consistent across countries.
2. Optimise and improve ROI -
Run continuous optimisation across audiences, creatives, offers, and funnels. Spot what is limiting performance, suggest changes, and help implement them with the marketing team, from campaign structure to landing page and lead flow improvements.
3. Report, clearly and consistently -
Build a reporting cadence that makes performance easy to understand and easy to act on. Track what is working, what is not, and what to do next, weekly. Bring clarity to decision making across countries, channels, and budgets.
Skills
Required
- 4+ years managing PPC, with strong hands on experience in Meta Ads and Google Ads
- C1 English
- Strong reporting ability through dashboards and subjective insights, not just metrics
Desired Experience
- Linkedin ads, Tiktok ads and Youtube ads
- High consideration products
- Managing international ad strategies
- Lead acquisition campaigns and workflows
- Marketing automation experience
- Curating creatives based on performance and audience behaviour
Valued
- Experience across 10 plus markets, languages, or regional campaign structures
- Familiarity with Looker Studio or similar reporting tools
- Experience working with dealers, lead handoff flows, or hybrid sales journeys
- Experience with Wordpress, CRO and SEO
- Advanced knowledge of Google Sheets
- Ad creatives creation experience
Valued traits
- Interest in camping, 4x4, or overlanding, you understand the customer and the product context
- Highly organised, comfortable working with a clear task queue and frameworks for prioritisation
- Flexible and receptive to frequent shifts in priorities, you can adapt plans quickly when the day changes
- Proactive with performance criticalities, you spot early warning indicators, pause, involve the right people, and help drive a fix before small issues become expensive ones
- Comfortable with accountability, you like owning outcomes and iterating until it works
