Your Role:
Country Manager

As Country Manager, you will be a member of the Iberia Lead Team, providing leadership, developing the Sales Organization, and connecting enabling functions. In this role, you'll be responsible for delivering business results for specific species groups, driving value for customers, people, and Elanco.

Your Responsibilities:

  • Provide leadership and develop the sales organization to deliver business results for specific species groups.
  • Develop and execute annual business plans, owning sales execution based on marketing plans.
  • Cultivate long-term relationships with customers, distributors, wholesalers, and key influencers.
  • Manage the sales organization, including recruiting, training, coaching, and evaluating performance.
  • Serve as a key member of the Iberia Leadership team, contributing to affiliate strategy and decision-making.

What You Need to Succeed (minimum qualifications):

  • Degree level in life science or business qualification.
  • A minimum of 10 years of experience in Sales and/or Marketing.
  • Strong communication skills (verbal and written with fluency in English) and excellent planning and leadership skills.

What will give you a competitive edge (preferred qualifications):

  • MBA desirable.
  • Preference for Agricultural, Life Science, or Veterinary Science background.
  • Minimum of 5 years' experience in a senior Management role.
  • Experience in managing sales personnel and building effective teams.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of the animal health industry.

Additional Information: Travel: Up to 60-70% is required regularly within Portugal, Spain and occasionally globally.
