Uber Eats was launched in Portugal in November 2017 and is now the most downloaded Food Delivery App. We are available in 70+ cities, delivering from over 6,000 stores (restaurants and others) and growing quickly

Our curated menus feature dishes from the local spots you love and the ones you've always wanted to try, as well as really anything else you may need on the go, from groceries, to beauty products, to flowers. As the Lisbon Territory Lead for Uber Eats, you'll play a pivotal role in one of our most strategic and high-performing markets globally. You'll be responsible for owning the business performance of Lisbon end-to-end, driving commercial excellence through a team of experienced Account Managers.

We're looking for a local market expert with B2B sales background, preferably in tech and/or hospitality/restaurant business who thrives in fast-paced environments. You must be fluent in Portuguese and bring a relentless drive for results, exceptional negotiation skills, and a talent for leading and inspiring high-performing teams.

What You'll Do

  • Strategy: Own your market by defining business priorities, set bold timelines to reach those goals and take financial decisions
  • Lead a local team: you will have local teams on the ground that will help you managing your business. That's why we look forward to hiring optimistic leaders: developing these teams while shaping the organisation is key to our long term success.
  • Drive performance and target achievement: you will make sure your team performs at a very high level, always bringing incremental value to current and new merchants, and as a consequence, to Uber Eats
  • Develop & Optimize Processes: Uber is a company that moves fast and does things at large scale. You will help design processes; whether it be prospecting, onboarding, account management, training, etc. to fuel growth and drive efficiency.
  • Restaurant Partners Relations: Grow number of partners on the platform, manage partner development, monitor metrics, and ensure high-quality experiences on the Uber Eats system to provide the most reliable food delivery service in town.
  • Team work: Work closely with other teams, including Operations, Commops, Marketing, Comms and Policy and Regional teams, to implement new processes and products in your territory
  • Be on the ground : Have full control of your territory, meet your biggest partners and manage your team.
  • Hustle: take ownership and do what it takes to get the job done.

What You Will Need

  • At least 5 years experience in operations management, management consulting, investment banking, strategy work in a large business, growing a startup or similar experience.
  • Outstanding commercial acumen and negotiation and deal-making capabilities
  • Proven team leadership and performance management experience
  • Data-driven decision making mentality and sound business judgment through analytical thinking
  • Ability to take initiative and easily adapt to constantly-changing work environment
  • A creative mindset and enjoy putting in place initiatives to solve practical issues
  • Fluency in Portuguese and English is required
  • SQL is a plus
