My client is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Lead Verification Engineer to join their team in Lisbon. This is a full-time hybrid role, offering an excellent opportunity to work in a dynamic and professional environment. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in digital verification and a passion for ensuring design excellence.
As a Lead Verification Engineer, your key responsibilities will include:
- Developing and executing verification plans based on design specifications
- Creating testbenches and test cases using SystemVerilog/UVM or equivalent tools
- Performing simulations and debugging design issues in collaboration with design teams
- Conducting functional, regression, and coverage testing to ensure design correctness
- Analysing coverage metrics and enhancing test cases to meet verification goals
- Documenting test procedures, results, and tracking issues through resolution
To be successful in this role, you should possess the following qualifications:
- A BSc or MSc in Computer Science, Electronics, Automation, or related software disciplines
- A minimum of 8+ years of experience in digital verification, with expertise in UVM/SystemVerilog or Specman/e
- Strong background in digital electronics and ASIC/FPGA design
- Proficiency in system architecture, including processor architecture
- Experience in debugging Gate-Level Simulations (GLS) and timing closure
- Solid understanding of C/C++ and familiarity with scripting tools such as Python, Perl, or Tcl
- Excellent English communication skills, both written and verbal
