RAY.BBDM is managing a recruitment process for
BW Energy
, an independent oil and gas exploration and production (E&P) company with operations in Gabon, Brazil, and the USA. BW Energy is committed to operational excellence and continuous improvement and is now seeking a motivated and analytical trainee to support the development of its Integrated Management System (IMS).

Your Role:

As an
IMS & Business Analysis Trainee
, you will contribute to the documentation and enhancement of BW Energy's Integrated Management System. This role involves close collaboration with process owners and includes:

  • Mapping and documenting business objectives;
  • Identifying process inputs, outputs, and key tasks;
  • Assessing risks and defining key controls;
  • Establishing performance metrics and KPIs;
  • Supporting internal audit exercises as needed.

We're looking for someone with strong analytical and communication skills, eager to learn and contribute to a dynamic international environment. This opportunity is suitable for individuals at the beginning of their professional journey or those seeking a transition into broader business and management roles.

Key Skills:

  • Confident self-starter with the ability to work independently;
  • Strong communication skills, including active listening and clear written and spoken English (French is a plus);
  • Curious and eager to learn;
  • Logical thinker with the ability to navigate complexity.
  • Comfortable conducting interviews and basic research.
  • Familiarity with business analysis tools (e.g., flowcharts, mind maps) is a plus;
  • Understanding business concepts such as value chains, RACI, KPIs, and risk & controls is beneficial but not required.
  • Availability to travel occasionally to BW Energy subsidiaries in Brazil, Gabon, and the USA.
