Role Overview:

As a Content Moderator, you'll review and assess user-generated content — such as written posts, images, and videos — to ensure it follows company policies, community guidelines, and legal standards. Your attention to detail, sound judgment, and cultural awareness will be essential in maintaining a safe and high-quality platform for everyone.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Review Content: Check user submissions to confirm they comply with internal guidelines and applicable regulations.

  • Ensure Consistency: Make fair, accurate, and culturally sensitive moderation decisions without bias.

  • Promote Community Safety: Help maintain a respectful, inclusive, and secure environment for all users.

  • Follow Processes: Apply established workflows while staying flexible as rules and priorities evolve.

  • Escalate When Needed: Flag sensitive or high-risk cases and pass them to expert teams for further handling.

  • Stay Informed: Keep up with policy updates, platform changes, and evolving best practices in moderation.

Requirements:

  • Language Skills: Proficiency in German (C1/C2) and English (B2).
  • Eligibility: EU citizenship or a valid Portuguese residency card.
  • Experience: Minimum 1 year of experience in content moderation or a related analytical role.
  • Skills: Strong critical thinking, communication, and decision-making abilities.
  • Mindset: Objective, detail-oriented, and eager to grow within a fast-paced environment.
