S&CC Portugal, a Birkenstock group company based in Arouca, is recruiting a Head of Supply Chain and Planning.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and manage production schedules and capacity planning
  • Manage, train, and prioritize workloads for production planners and teams
  • Analyze and create reports of supply chain related responsibilities
  • Establish improvements to increase effectiveness
  • Monitoring performance of suppliers
  • Collaboration with other departments
  • Prepare budgets, forecasts and develop strategies
  • Monitoring project's progress to ensure it's following the schedule
  • Maintain production tools of supply chain related responsibilities

Relationships:

  • S&CC: Logistic, Quality, Production
  • BS Global: Central Planning, Supply Chain

Profile:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Management or related fields; Master's degree preferred
  • 3-5 year working experience in Supply Chain, Planning or related fields
  • Good verbal and written communication skills in English; (German, Portuguese advantage )
  • Mathematics skills
  • Good/high MS Office Excel
  • SAP experience
  • Pay attention to detail
  • Excellent organization skills
  • Problem solving mindset
  • Hands on, team friendly and proactive mentality
  • Fast learner
  • Intrinsic motivated
