Job Description

The SAP Senior Specialist will be responsible for providing SAP functional and technical support in the Finance area to Organon users, including the management of open incidents and change requests, testing of development changes, and identifying opportunities for improvement to meet evolving business needs.

Primary areas of expertise include FI – G/L, A/R, A/P, House Bank config, Payment methods, DMEE structures, IDOC creation, as well as outbound payment formats, bank connectivity in an SAP S/4 HANA environment. Knowledge of integration points to the Treasury module including Bank Communication Management, In House Cash and Transaction Management would be useful.

This is a hands-on role that requires a deep functional & application knowledge and ability to work and communicate effectively with business users. Require 8-10 years of configuration experience in the areas specified above. Candidate should ensure that design and development changes meets Organon's compliance requirements. Solid accounting skills are a must to succeed in this role.

The role will require liaison with both internal and external Technology partners, ensuring that system changes are carefully reviewed, documented and tested, and risks mitigated.

Data analysis capabilities and strong XL skills are required. An undergraduate degree in Accounting would be ideal.

 

Required Experience
 

  • 8-10 years of relevant functional and technical experience in Finance and Banking area in an SAP S4/HANA environment, both in implementation and support roles.

  • Configuration knowledge in areas including G/L, A/R, A/P, Bank accounting.

  • Ability to work with key Business Users and IT Team members to analyze, test, and implement SAP solutions to meet business requirements.

  • Ensure that issues related to end user requirements are well tested and communicated effectively.

  • Strong Data analysis skills, with the ability to use advanced XL.

  • Excellent communication skills (oral and written), influencing and relationship skills along with high personal integrity, credibility, and energy.

  • Results-orientation with the proven ability to develop, plan and implement them.
