Insurance Claims Handler Trainee

We are seeking a talented individual to join our Claims team at Marsh. This role will be based in Lisbon. This is a hybrid role that has a requirement of working at least three days a week in the office.

You will be joining a dynamic team that supports the risk business, handles and evaluates claims related to one of our international accounts, and provides quality service as a Marsh representative.

You will receive training and mentorship to learn the ins and outs of the insurance industry, including the day-to-day operations of our company. You will work closely with experienced professionals to develop the skills necessary to support the growth and success of our business.

We will count on you to:

  • Work directly with one of Marsh's international account;
  • Evaluate claims related to consumer credit;
  • Follow up processes in order to cover, decline or ask for more documentation in order to re-evaluate;
  • Respond to standard customer inquiries regarding the products and services the Company offers;
  • Answer, document and monitor call center calls, emails and transactions;
  • Track client and product order information and logs client data in spreadsheets to assist with monitoring call center activity.

What you need to have:

  • Degree in relevant field such as Law, Engineering, Management, etc.;
  • Have a detail oriented and organized profile;
  • Good verbal and written communication skills in English (at least B2);
  • Good knowledge of Microsoft tools.
