Location: Quinta Patino, Cascais

Schedule: Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM

Flexibility required for occasional evenings and weekends

Overview

We are seeking an experienced House Manager to oversee the smooth running of a high-standard private household. The ideal candidate will have prior experience in luxury households, with a strong preference for those who have worked in 5-star hotels or similar high-end environments.

Key Responsibilities

Staff Management & Leadership

• Recruit, onboard, train, and manage household staff
• Create and manage staff schedules and rotas
• Oversee performance, ensuring accountability and high standards
• Lead by example, setting the tone for professionalism, discretion, and excellence
• Foster a culture of pride, attention to detail, and exceptional service within the household team

Principal Support

• Act as the main point of contact between the Principal, the Principal's PA, and household staff
• Support the Principal with ad hoc requests, personal assistance, and lifestyle management tasks
• Welcome Principals and guests when appropriate, ensuring a warm, polished, and seamless experience
• Anticipate needs and preferences, delivering a highly personalised service

Requirements

• Fluent in English
• Legal right to work in Portugal
• Proven experience in high-standard private households (5-star hotel background preferred)

Salary: 3500€ gross per month
