We are in search of a Head of Finance to join our innovative team as our new #bloqstar. This is a hands-on, operational leadership role focused on the day-to-day management of the treasury functions, ensuring optimal liquidity, disciplined cash flow management, and strong financial planning to support rapid international growth.

What you'll be doing: 

• Own daily cash positioning, payment calendars, liquidity planning, and short- and medium-term cash flow forecasting to ensure sufficient funding for operational and investment needs;

• Contribute to financial strategy, including working capital optimization, capital increases, and debt raising initiatives to support company growth and expansion;

• Oversee bank relationship management, negotiate fees and facilities, and manage FX exposure and hedging strategies to minimize financial risk and cost;

• Monitor and drive working capital KPIs, ensuring efficient collections, vendor management, and alignment with supply chain and operations;

• Partner with Operations, Supply Chain, and D&M teams to translate operational realities into actionable financial insights and decisions;

• Strengthen financial systems, data integrity, and reporting by leveraging ERP and BI tools to deliver clear, real-time visibility on financial performance;

• Lead ERP (Odoo/NetSuite/SAP/Oracle) management, strengthen internal controls, and drive continuous improvement financial management processes.

What you'll bring to the table: 

• 6-8 years of experience in Finance Operations environments, with 2-3 years of managing small teams;

• Demonstrated hands-on experience in cash flow forecasting, payment runs, and vendor/AR management within high-growth, operations-heavy environments;

• Proven track record in working capital optimization and cash management process improvements;

• Strong understanding of banking environments, with the ability to manage relationships and negotiate effectively with financial institutions;

• Excellent stakeholder management skills and ability to align finance with broader business operations;

• Proficiency in ERP systems (Odoo, NetSuite, SAP, Oracle) and BI tools (Power BI, Looker, Tableau);

• Strong analytical mindset and advanced proficiency in Excel/Google Sheets (large data handling, pivot tables, scenario modelling);

• Excellent communication skills. English fluency is required, while Portuguese is highly preferred.

It would be great if you would also have:

• Treasury experience in a non-financial institution;

• A strong network with financial institutions.
