We are in search of a Frontend Engineer to join our innovative team as our new #bloqstar. In this role, you'll play a crucial role in developing and enhancing our frontend applications to deliver seamless user experiences to all our stakeholders.

What you'll be doing: 

  • Participate in all stages of the development, and post-development, lifecycle;
  • Proactively provide creative, thorough, and practical solutions to a wide range of technical problems;
  • Design, write, and maintain code that is well organized, scalable, testable, and doesn't generate new problems (most of the time);
  • Proactively identify issues, bottlenecks, gaps, or other areas of concern or opportunities and work to either directly affect change, or advocate for that change to be made;
  • Be self-motivated to learn and show strong initiative;
  • Contribute to an engineering-wide culture of healthy principles and practices, code quality, and shared responsibility for testing;
  • Contribute to refining our technical vision, ensuring alignment with business objectives and advocating for innovative solutions.

What you'll bring to the table: 

  • Demonstrated hands-on experience with frontend development and engineering, particularly with modern frameworks like VueJs, Svelte, or others;
  • Demonstrated experience with building responsive web-based applications and consuming APIs;
  • SOLID experience in writing clean code that works;
  • Experience with testing approaches, strategies, and implementation (at several levels);
  • Experience with continuous integration, deployment, and delivery;
  • Familiarity with logging, tracing, and monitoring tools;
  • Familiarity with version control best practices.

  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to think critically to address complex technical challenges;
  • Proactive mindset with a focus on continuous improvement and learning;
  • Flexibility and willingness to adapt to changing priorities, technologies, and project requirements.
