The project
We are seeking a Manual QA Tester (Medical) to work on a project for a Health Company.

You will have the following responsibilities:

  • Execute manual test cases to validate application functionality and ensure alignment with functional requirements;
  • Identify, document, and track defects, working closely with developers to ensure timely resolution;
  • Create, maintain, and optimize test cases and test plans within tools such as Jira or Azure DevOps (ADO);
  • Perform functional, regression, exploratory, and manual API testing across different application components;
  • Analyse requirements to derive test conditions, ensuring full coverage of business and functional needs;
  • Document test results and prepare clear reports to support decision-making and release readiness;
  • Collaborate with business analysts and other stakeholders to clarify requirements and improve the overall quality of the solution;
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of QA processes and the adoption of QA best practices within an Agile/Scrum environment.

You need to have the following skills/experience:

  • Proven experience in manual test case creation and execution;
  • Strong functional, regression, and exploratory testing experience;
  • Experience in defect reporting, test documentation, and requirements analysis;
  • Experience with manual API testing;
  • Hands-on experience with quality management and test management tools such as Jira and Azure DevOps (ADO), including creation and maintenance of test cases and test plans;
  • Good understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies and QA best practices and standards;
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills;
  • Test automation knowledge (nice to have);
  • Bachelor's and Master's degree with at least 2 years of relevant experience, or Bachelor's degree with 5 years of relevant experience;
  • ISTQB Certification or similar.

Location
Lisbon, Braga, or Coimbra (Hybrid - 1–2 days per week at the office).
