We are seeking a
ELK Platform Operations & Development

professional willing to accept new challenges in our Closer team in a hybrid model in Lisbon.

ELK Platform Operations & Development:

• Administer, configure, and optimize components of the ELK stack (Elasticsearch, Logstash, Kibana) in a cloud environment (Azure).
• Develop and maintain log ingestion pipelines using
  Logstash
  and
  Filebeat
  .
• Manage data storage, indexing, and lifecycle within
  Elasticsearch
  .
• Create, maintain, and optimize dashboards and visualizations in
  Kibana
  for various teams and use cases.
• Implement and maintain alerting mechanisms within the ELK stack.

Integration & Onboarding:

• Develop scripts and automations for integrating (onboarding) new log sources into the platform.
• Support internal entities and products in adopting Logboard capabilities.
• Collaborate on defining and executing the onboarding strategy for the monitoring platform.

Studies & Strategic Roadmap:

• Contribute to studies and analyses of monitoring and observability solutions.
• Participate in defining the strategic roadmap for Monitoring Solutions at AXA.
• Conduct feasibility studies and architecture design for an end-to-end observability platform.

Infrastructure & DevOps:

• Utilize infrastructure-as-code tools like
  Terraform
  and configuration management with
  Puppet
  for deployment and scaling.
• Apply Linux system administration expertise for platform operation and maintenance.
• Collaborate using
  Git
  for version control and team collaboration.
• Support the implementation of
  OpenTelemetry
  for enhanced observability.

Mandatory:

• 3-5 years of hands-on expertise
  in ELK stack development, implementation, and administration in a production environment.
• Strong proficiency in
  Elasticsearch
  (index management, mappings, queries) and
  Logstash
  (pipelines, filters, grok patterns).
• Experience with
  Kibana
  for dashboard creation, visualization, and user management.
• Solid background in
  Linux system administration
  .
• Experience deploying and managing applications in
  Microsoft Azure
  .
• Knowledge of infrastructure-as-code principles and tools, specifically
  Terraform
  .
• Experience with log collection agents, particularly
  Filebeat
  .
• Professional proficiency in English.

Highly Desirable:

• Experience with
  Puppet
  for configuration management.
• Knowledge of
  OpenTelemetry
  standards and implementation.
• Familiarity with
  Dynatrace
  , specifically the
  Grail
  data platform, is a significant advantage.
• Experience in designing and executing onboarding/migration projects for monitoring platforms.
• Strong scripting skills (e.g., Python, Bash, PowerShell) for automation.
• Understanding of CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.
