Purpose You are responsible for providing technical expertise to the offshore team and to the other relevant departments. You will play a key role in driving continuous improvement initiatives, aligning them with the organization's strategic objectives, and ensuring the effective management of technical resources and processes.You ensure the smooth execution of maintenance and repair scope by providing techinal support to the maintenance team in defining the scope and parts and tools requirements. Responsibilities You are responsible to provide technical support to the operating unit by developing actionable plans and assist in management decisions . You offer technical recommendations to enhance operability, increase business revenue, protect equipment, and optimize control device performance while identifying and mitigating technical risks. You raise Technical Notes and Guidelines as a recognized Technical Expert. You support regulatory agency audits, internal audits, and client audits to ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations. You contribute to Strategy and Governance by implementing best practices and following up on Class issues, regulatory requirements, and GTS. You drive the inventory of parts and tools, ensuring availability when needed. You support in the elaboration of Technical Risk Assessments (TRA) and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives for processes and systems. You assist in Start-Up and Shut-Down procedures, ensuring safe and efficient operations. You support Root Cause Analyses (RCAs) and propose actionable plans to address identified issues. You manage the results of Predictive Maintenance to ensure equipment reliability and performance. You support the Supply Chain in evaluating technical proposals for services and materials that differ from like-for-like or have technical deviations. Education Mechanical Engineering graduation; Vibration analysis certification is desired.CREA active (Conselho Regional de Engenharia e Arquitetura(Architecture and Civil Engineering Regional Council) Experience Minimum of 4 years of experience in mechanical maintenance and repair, preferably within the Oil & Gas industry. Experience with failure analysis and root cause investigation techniques. Familiarity with SAP or other enterprise asset management systems. Good familiarity with safety regulations and industry standards. Experience working in a Shorebase environment.
