M&A Analyst (Lisbon)

Job Description

We are seeking a talented and motivated
(Junior) M&A Analyst
to join our dynamic team. This is an excellent opportunity for an early-career professional to accelerate their development in mergers and acquisitions, participating in live transactions from origination through to closing.

Responsibilities

  • Originate M&A deals and support commercial outreach to potential clients, targets, and counterparts.
  • Conduct financial analysis, due diligence, and market research for potential M&A transactions.
  • Assess and present investment opportunities to the management team.
  • Assist in the development of financial models and valuation analyses.
  • Participate in deal negotiations and documentation processes (BT, CIM, Process Letters, LOIs, etc.).
  • Stay current with industry trends and regulatory developments relevant to M&A.
  • Perform ad hoc analyses and other tasks as required.

Qualifications

  • Strong academic background with a
    Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business, Economics, or a related field
    .
  • 1–2 years of M&A experience
    (in investment banking, private equity, or financial advisory).
  • Excellent analytical and quantitative skills.
  • Proficiency in
    Excel and financial modeling
    .
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills in English.
  • Ability to work effectively in a
    fast-paced, collaborative environment
    .
  • Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.
  • A strong desire to
    learn and grow
    within the M&A field.
