Project

We are looking for a Data Governance Specialist to join our team to ensure that systems are designed, upgraded, managed, de-commissioned and archived in compliance with data policy across the full data life cycle. This includes complying with the data strategy and undertaking the design of data models and supporting the management of metadata.

Role

  • Interpret the strategic objectives of a project/application and validate them accordingly with data strategy, management and exploitation
  • Structure information in the Information System, i.e. the way information is grouped, as well as the navigation methods and the terminology used within the Information Systems of the entity, as defined by the lead data architects
  • Create and manage data models in all their forms, including conceptual models, functional database designs, message models and others in compliance with the data framework policy 
  • Contribute for and enrich the Data Architecture Framework
    Contribute for the definition and implementation of policies, processes and procedures related to data management and governance
  • Communicate with teams & client personnel at appropriate levels when needed
  • Develop your professional knowledge and experiences within CIB business

We are looking for

  • 3+ years of professional experience in Consulting
  • 3+ years of professional experience in Data and technology-related projects as a Data Governance/Management/Strategy consultant
  • Ability to interpret business needs and map them with data
  • Knowledge and/or experience in data governance tools like Informatica, Microsoft Purview, Collibra and others
  • Experience in the definition and implementation of data governance models, policies, processes and procedures related to data management and governance
  • Knowledge of topics related to Data Management/Governance and the main technological trends associated
  • Knowledge of best practices and market trends about information and data architectures
  • Experience analyzing and documenting business processes
  • Experience using Jira/Confluence/SharePoint
  • Experience in Avolution Abacus or similar Enterprise Architecture tools
  • Experience in Data & Analytics projects such as designing data models and mapping data flows
  • Sound business writing skills
  • Knowledge of frameworks such as TOGAF, DAMA, CMMI DMM
  • Market meta-models, taxonomies, and ontologies (such as FpML, CDM, ISO20022)
  • Functional & Application Architecture, Enterprise Architecture and Architecture rules and principles
  • Activities such as Global Market, Global Banking, Securities Services and Asset & Liabilities Management
