Glazed Solutions is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to join PlayerData, our most trusted partner in the sports technology space.

PlayerData is redefining performance analytics through data-driven insights that help athletes train smarter and perform better. Together, we are scaling their platform and expanding their product offering to meet the growing demands of a rapidly evolving sports market.

As part of this collaboration, you will be integrated into PlayerData's Product Engineering team, working alongside passionate professionals who value clean architecture, reliable systems, and user-focused design.

We are looking for a Senior Software Engineer who writes clean, reliable, and well-tested code and who genuinely cares about solving real user problems.

You will do much more than build features. You will help shape the product, influence technical decisions, and work closely with the Product, Design, and Customer Success teams to deliver meaningful and scalable solutions.

You will also mentor other engineers, share knowledge across teams, and grow within a culture built on trust, openness, and continuous improvement.

What will you do?

• Develop high-quality software across the stack, mainly using Ruby on Rails and React Native.
• Collaborate closely with Product, Design, and Customer Success teams.
• Lead technical and architectural discussions and decisions.
• Write clear and complete documentation.
• Mentor junior engineers and support your peers.
• Engage directly with customers and stakeholders to understand their needs.
• Continuously improve processes through feedback, testing, and learning.

You should apply if

• You have solid experience with Ruby on Rails or similar frameworks (Django, Laravel, ASP.NET, NestJS, Phoenix, Flask).
• You are comfortable working with React and React Native.
• You communicate technical concepts clearly and confidently.
• You are proactive, value mentorship, and enjoy challenging assumptions constructively.
• You focus on practical, user-centered solutions rather than purely technical ones.
• You are confident in interacting directly with customers and stakeholders.
• You are comfortable with a hybrid work model, splitting time between the office and remote work.
