As a
Senior O2C Specialist
, you'll be the driving force behind the
end-to-end Order-to-Cash cycle
— from order management to collections and reporting.
You'll ensure
process excellence, compliance, and efficiency
, while mentoring junior colleagues and implementing improvements that boost business performance and optimize working capital.

Your Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage daily O2C operations: order entry, billing, collections, cash application, and dispute resolution.
- Prepare and review AR aging reports; develop effective collection strategies to reduce DSO.
- Manage relationships with customers and internal stakeholders, resolving escalations and negotiating payment terms.
- Ensure compliance with audit, SOX, IFRS, and internal control standards.
- Drive automation, standardization, and process improvement initiatives.
- Support month-end and quarter-end closings, reconciliations, and management reporting.
- Mentor and train junior team members to strengthen O2C expertise within the team.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with Sales, Treasury, Tax, and Logistics departments.
Your Profile
- Fluent in German.
- Excellent written and spoken English (C1)
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration.
- 5–7 years of experience in O2C / Accounts Receivable / Finance Operations, including 2+ years in a lead or supervisory role.
- In-depth understanding of O2C processes, financial controls, and compliance frameworks.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills.
- Hands-on experience with ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, NetSuite, or Workday).
- Proven exposure to global environments and multi-currency operations.
- Advanced Excel and reporting abilities.
- A natural leader and mentor, driven by accuracy, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
