Senior Software Engineer Factory Integration

We are seeking a hands-on Software Engineer with 3–5 years of development and operations experience to design, develop, and maintain mission-critical applications and automation for semiconductor process control solutions. You will work across the SDLC, drive CI/CD and test automation, and ensure high availability and performance of production systems in a global, cross-functional, agile environment
Your Role
Key responsibilities in your new role
- Collaborate with stakeholders to gather, document, and prioritize software requirements, ensuring alignment with business objectives
- Develop and maintain detailed software specifications, and implement high-quality, scalable, and efficient code using C# .Net, Python
- Design, develop, and execute comprehensive unit tests, integration tests, and system tests to ensure software meets quality, security, and performance standards
- Design and implement automation tools and frameworks for CI/CD, test/system automation, and deployment
- Develop and maintain database APIs/data access layer, optimize, and troubleshoot queries, procedures, and packages; SQL Server experience is a plus
- Plan, coordinate, and execute software deployments to production environments, ensuring minimal downtime and seamless user experience
- Provide IT operational support for Process Control Solutions and participate in a 24/7 support rotation for manufacturing solutions, as required
- Perform ongoing maintenance, troubleshooting, and optimization of software systems to ensure optimal performance, scalability, and reliability
- Work in cross‑functional global teams and follow DevOps practices and methods
Qualifications and skills to help you succeed
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Informatics, or a related field
- Minimum 3–5 years of hands‑on software development with C#, Python, and familiarity with modern web development (e.g., ASP.NET Core, Angular, React, )
- Proven track record of successfully planning, designing, and implementing complex systems
- Strong background in working with relational databases like Oracle, proficient in SQL/PLSQL; experience delivering and consuming database APIs/data access layers
- Proficiency in Agile development methods
- Experience with cloud technologies, containerization, and orchestration tools (Kubernetes/OpenShift)
- Experience within the semiconductor industry is a significant plus, although not mandatory
- Fluency in English is mandatory
