We are seeking a experienced and motivated Senior Application Engineer to join our IT Business Applications team. This role focuses on the administration, optimization, and integration of business-critical applications. The ideal candidate brings deep expertise in system and application administration, foundational development skills and a strong interest in data modeling and workflow automation.



Responsabilidades

  • Manage, maintain, and optimize enterprise applications and lead underlying infrastructure operations.
  • Ensure high availability, performance, and security of business applications.
  • Develop and maintain scripts (e.g., PowerShell) to automate administrative tasks and workflows.
  • Collaborate with development teams to integrate applications with internal systems and data sources.
  • Design and implement data models to support business workflows and process automation.
  • Work closely with business analysts to translate requirements into technical solutions.
  • Lead infrastructure and application-related projects from concept to deployment.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure system compatibility and alignment with business goals.
  • Maintain detailed documentation of systems, configurations, and procedures.
  • Ensure compliance with IT governance, security policies, and best practices.


Calificaciones

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related fields.
  • Relevant certifications (e.g., MCSA, ITIL) are a plus.
  • Minimum 5 years of professional experience in system and application administration.
  • Solid understanding of data models, APIs, and workflow engines
  • Strong scripting skills in PowerShell; familiarity with other languages (e.g., Python, SQL) is a plus.
