Your new role
In this role, you will be responsible for cultivating and maintaining networking communities across a broad and diverse audience of people interested and active on health trends. You will design and implement community engagement strategies that align with Novo Nordisk's business goals, fostering trust, support, and empowerment. You will also leverage insights to continuously improve engagement initiatives and drive brand presence through educational and supportive programs tailored to diverse community segments.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Define and execute the local community engagement strategy, ensuring alignment with business goals, as well as global and regional guidelines.
  • Segment community audiences, set clear engagement objectives, and develop content pillars with measurable KPIs.
  • Build and maintain relationships with internal stakeholders and external partners.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for all community-related inquiries, partnerships, and initiatives.
  • Design and implement community initiatives that enhance patient empowerment, engagement, and brand presence, while ensuring scientific accuracy in all content.
  • Create and manage annual and campaign plans with defined budgets, roadmaps, and risk management strategies.
  • Collect qualitative and quantitative feedback from community interactions to identify opportunities for improvement and innovation, translating insights into actionable recommendations for customer engagement.

Your new department
Under this role you will be part of the team focused on building strong, lasting relationships with customers by delivering personalized, culturally relevant support across channels. The team combines local market knowledge with global best practices to ensure timely responses, effective problem resolution, and proactive outreach that enhances customer satisfaction and loyalty. They collaborate closely with sales, marketing, and product teams to gather customer insights, inform improvements, and drive initiatives that increase retention and advocacy in the Portuguese market.

Your Skills & Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you need to have:

  • Experience in community building and management from strategy and tactics definition, to planning and execution, and across multiple channels and avenues
  • Proven track record in building and maintaining relationships with stakeholders, partners, and community members, with an ability to foster trust and collaboration.
  • Strong focus on designing experiences that meet the needs of consumer and consumers, ensuring value and engagement.
  • Fluent in Portuguese and English, with excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to analyze market trends, community needs, and business opportunities to develop actionable strategies that align with organizational goals.
  • Skilled in working across teams to ensure alignment on community engagement initiatives and integrating business development goals into strategy execution.
  • Out-of-the-box thinker who challenges the status quo, comfortable with change, and eager to create impactful community-driven initiatives.
