THE ROLE

We are looking for a
Mid-Senior BI Developer
, specialized in Power BI Modelling ( 2+ years of experience with SQL and DAX), who will be responsible for functional and technical design of BI solutions including user interfaces, data architecture, KPI creation and processing. You'll be working on multiple projects simultaneously, focusing on the details while finding creative ways to tackle big picture challenges.


WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING

  • Design, Develop and Implement Power BI Models:
    Design, develop and implement Power BI models that comply with established standards and best practices.
  • KPI and Metric Calculations:
    Ensure accurate and relevant calculation of essential Metrics/KPIs using DAX (Data Analysis Expressions).
  • QA and Security Oversight:
    Maintain the integrity of Reporting infrastructures and models, ensuring top-notch quality and security.
  • Data Analysis:
    Dive deep into complex datasets, identifying and interpreting noteworthy trends or patterns that can drive business strategies.
  • Cross-functional Teamwork:
    Collaborate with various teams - from engineering to marketing, ensuring the smooth execution of BI projects.
  • Process Enhancement:
    Spot areas of opportunity and spearhead initiatives for process improvement within the BI domain.
  • Efficiency Tools:
    Design and implement tools that bolster the efficiency and precision of BI operations.
  • Stay Updated:
    Proactively research industry norms, emerging tools, and trends related to Power BI models and broader BI paradigms. Advocate for continuous improvement, ensuring we offer unparalleled client experience.


REQUIREMENTS

  • Experience performing Data Modelling activities in Power BI (2+ years of experience);
  • Experience writing Dax Measures (2+ Years)
  • T-SQL Knowledge (2+ Years);
  • Experience working with Microsoft BI Tools (ex. Visual Studio, DAX Studio, Tabular Editor);
  • Critical thinker who is open to challenges;
  • Team player and able to work in a fast-paced environment;
  • Fluent in English, both written and spoken.

LOCATION

We're based in Porto, Portugal. Although there is the possibility of remote working, we are only considering people located in Portugal.
