We are looking for an AWS Database Administrator to join our Client's team under a hybrid work model. Project Context: You will be part of an international environment, supporting mission-critical database platforms on AWS. As part of the team, you will provide 360o database layer support across multiple services and technologies, actively contributing to operational excellence and having the opportunity to influence current and future technology decisions. Key Responsibilities: Install, configure, and maintain database environments on AWS Support and manage AWS RDS and Aurora (PostgreSQL and MySQL)Manage and optimize Amazon Redshift environments Perform performance tuning, workload management, and query optimization Ensure availability, reliability, and scalability of mission-critical systems Monitor databases and proactively identify and resolve issues Participate in shift-based work (team coverage of 10-hour shifts, 5 days per week)Be part of an on-call rotation (approximately one week per month)Collaborate with international teams and stakeholders Required Qualifications: 5+ years of experience as a Database Administrator supporting mission-critical environments Strong experience with AWS database technologies: AWS RDS and Aurora (PostgreSQL and MySQL)Amazon Redshift Solid background in: Installation and configuration Performance tuning Query optimization Workload management Upper-intermediate English level (minimum B2), written and spoken Nice to Have: Knowledge of additional AWS services: S3IAM Lambda CloudWatch Why Join Us?Contract Type: Permanent / Employment contract or B2B, according to preference Health Insurance: Comprehensive coverage for your well-being Hybrid Model: 3 days per week in the office (Porto)Continuous Learning: Access to a Udemy Business subscription with thousands of courses and workshops Team Culture: A collaborative, relaxed, and innovative environment If you meet the above criteria and are ready for an exciting opportunity in a dynamic environment, send us your CV
