Position: SAP FI/CO Support Consultant (Contract, Long-term)Location: Primarily Remote (with occasional visits to Portugal and Germany)Contract Type: Rolling 3-month contracts (initial 3 months), long-term engagementClient: Leading Japanese IT/Manufacturing Company (Europe Operations)About the RoleWe are looking for an experienced SAP FI/CO Consultant to support our client's European operations. The role is mainly focused on SAP system maintenance, support, and minor enhancements across finance and controlling processes. The position is predominantly remote, with occasional on-site presence in Portugal and Germany as required.Key ResponsibilitiesProvide SAP FI/CO support, maintenance, and troubleshooting (incident handling, root cause analysis).Support core FI areas such as GL, AP/AR, Asset Accounting, bank/payment-related processes (as applicable).Support CO areas such as cost centers, internal orders, profitability analysis (if relevant), month-end activities.Deliver minor configuration changes/enhancements, updates, and continuous improvements.Collaborate with business users to align SAP processes with operational requirements.Assist with testing (UAT/system testing), data validation, and issue resolution.Document processes, changes, and maintain a system knowledge base.Coordinate with cross-functional teams, including SD/MM integration points where needed.Qualifications & Experience5+ years of hands-on experience in SAP FI/CO (support/maintenance-focused experience preferred).Strong understanding of SAP support operations (tickets, change requests, release/update cycles).Experience working with international stakeholders; European operations exposure is a plus.Fluent English (Portuguese/German is a plus but not required).Able to work independently in a remote environment and collaborate effectively across time zones.What We OfferLong-term contract with rolling 3-month renewals.Predominantly remote work with flexible setup.Global environment and cross-country collaboration (Portugal/Germany focus).Candidates based in Europe (especially Portugal/Germany) preferred
